Visitor Testing Required 11.05.2020 Applies to Indoor, Compassionate Care Visits Only

Dear Residents, families and visitors,

Due to the very high rate of COVID-19 infections in Woodbury County, we have decided that visitors who are coming into the Sunrise building for an indoor, compassionate care visit will need to be tested prior to their visit.  This includes both the nursing facility and assisted living.  The test produces results within 15 minutes, so we ask that if you have an appointment scheduled that you arrive early for the test and wait for results prior to continuing with the check in process for your visit.  Many of our residents qualify for compassionate care visits at this time and this extra step will help mitigate the potential for visitors to unknowingly spread the virus.

Erin Anderson, activities director, will discuss this with visitors as they call for appointments, but Chris Schenkelberg and I are also available to answer any questions that you have.

Thank you for helping us as we strive to keep virus activity low on our campus.

Sincerely,

Hallie Salmen, CEO
