Ways to Support Sunrise

While we are funded through Medicare, Medicaid, private payments, and other third parties, we rely on gifts and grants to add programs and support services. In addition, Sunrise provides “charity care” to half of our health center residents who cannot cover their costs of long-term care.

A Foundation for our Future

The fall of 2013 saw the creation of the Sunrise Foundation Board. The Sunrise Board of Directors blessed the formation of the foundation to further advance our mission of service to our residents and to the Siouxland community, both for today and also in the years to come. The major focus of the foundation focuses on the development and growth of a planned giving program.
