COVID-19 Update

At Sunrise Retirement Community, we are committed to protecting the health of our residents.  As COVID-19 spreads in the United States, we want to keep you and our residents healthy and safe. Be sure to stop back to this page to stay informed about how we are serving our residents, families, volunteers, visitors, community partners and employees during this time.

Information Regarding Vaccinations for Residents & Families of Sunrise

As you know, our main goal is to continue to keep our resident’s health and well-being our top priority. Over the weekend of December 12th, 2020, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) gave authorization for the emergency use of the Pfizer vaccine for COVID-19. We have all been anxiously waiting this moment! Sunrise is partnering with Walgreens to get the vaccine distributed to Sunrise residents and staff on our campus. We anticipate that sometime after December 28, 2020 we will be scheduled for our first clinic date. This vaccine is a two-step vaccine and the second dose is to be administered approximately 21 days after the first dose. Walgreens will be on the Sunrise campus to perform these shots.

Below you will find the Walgreens consent form to click to print and fill out in advance to return to us as soon as possible. You will also find other important links for information regarding the vaccination. As always, our first priority is focused on keeping our residents safe and healthy as we are excited about the prospect of the vaccine. Keep an eye on this section of the site for the latest information as it will continue to be updated. As of right now, this is directed toward Long Term Care residents only.

From Sunrise Retirement

We want to thank you all for your understanding and patience during this difficult time. As you know, our main goal is to continue to keep our resident’s health and well-being our top priority.
