At Sunrise Retirement Community, we are committed to protecting the health of our residents. As COVID-19 spreads in the United States, we want to keep you and our residents healthy and safe. Be sure to stop back to this page to stay informed about how we are serving our residents, families, volunteers, visitors, community partners and employees during this time.
From Sunrise Retirement
Sunrise is excited to welcome visitors back to our nursing and assisted living areas!
In order for Sunrise to conduct visiting, we must be sure all visitors are adhering to the Core Principles of COVID-19 Infection Prevention, as noted in the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ regulation (listed in QSO-20-39-NH, see document by clicking orange button below). These principles are incorporated into the policy that Sunrise has developed below. We ask for our visitor’s active participation with the policy so that we are able to provide all of our residents with this life enriching opportunity.
Information Regarding Vaccinations for Residents & Families of Sunrise
As of February 25, 2021 we have completed our federal partnership with Walgreens and have vaccinated 98% of our current eligible nursing and assisted living facility residents. As you know, our main goal is to continue to keep our resident’s health and well-being our top priority. We are working with our pharmacy partner and Siouxland District Health to come up with a way that we are able to continue to offer the vaccine to new admissions to our campus.
Below you will find important links for information regarding the vaccination. As always, our first priority is focused on keeping our residents safe and healthy as we are excited about the prospect of the vaccine. Keep an eye on this section of the site for the latest information as it will continue to be updated.
